About Maddy
Hi, my name is Maddy, and I have a passion for teaching students! I earned my associate degree in Deaf Education, and as someone who has two disabilities myself, I was inspired to pursue a degree in mathematics education so I could help students feel confident and successful in learning.
Through my experience working with students with disabilities, I have learned how important it is to make learning engaging, supportive, and creative. I enjoy finding fun, interactive ways to keep students involved in lessons and use a variety of teaching strategies to help concepts make sense for every learner.

I have a strong passion for mathematics and experience teaching students of all ages. I have also worked closely with children with autism and learning disabilities, which has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and creative teaching strategies. I enjoy finding engaging, hands-on ways to make math more understandable and meaningful while encouraging students to actively participate in their learning.
