About Sophie
I am a professional ballerina with the Philadelphia Ballet, where I have been working since 2018. With the ballet, I have danced featured roles in Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and the Nutcracker, in addition to works by George Balanchine, and world-renowned choreographers. I began my training in Southern California, where I received strict Russian training with an emphasis on classicism. I supplemented my training with summer intensives at The School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and San Francisco Ballet. I was also a competitor in the 2018 USA Jackson International Ballet Competition, as well as a finalist in the 2018 Spotlight Music Center Program. I joined Philadelphia Ballet II for the 2018/2019 Season, joined the main company as an Apprentice for the 2019/2020 Season, and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet for the 2020/2021 Season. I also teach Barre classes at Physique 57 Philly!

I offer private ballet lessons, competition coaching and mentoring, and strength and flexibility conditioning. I also offer barre fitness training.
