About Lara
Studying philosophy at degree level, as well as RS at A-Level, has given me refined perspective on how to teach dense concepts in a simple, digestible, way that provides a basis for those more complex A* techniques. My strategy throughout education, from GCSE to now at degree level, is always to work smarter rather than harder! Little and often goes the best way.

Hi! My name is Lara, and I'm currently a Philosophy student at UCL but based in Cambridge. Slightly more niche, I am offering tutoring for A-Level and GCSE philosophy and/or religious studies. I believe half the battle with these exams is knowing the formula for your specification - knowing this is usually what brings up your grade from a B/C or 6/7 level to A/A* or 8/9 - so a lot of my sessions focus on learning correct exam technique. And, of course, all of this is useless without understanding the content itself which I am happy to help with and create resources for.
