About Caitlin
I'm a PhD Student in Environmental Science, who is passionate about the environment and teaching. I have availability every evening during the week. I have a BSc in Geography, which I received a First Class degree as well as the Best Dissertation prize. My current research is focusing on climate change and nature-based solutions. I am a patient and caring person, and would be happy to help with any topic you are stuck on. I have years of experience of teaching at a variety of levels. As an undergraduate, I was both an English tutor at a primary school, and then helped first-year students with lab experiments in my final year. As a PhD student I have helped teach classes on Geographical Information Systems, Environmental Hazards and Hydrology.

Hi! I'm a PhD student in Environmental Science with experience teaching university-level courses. I offer tutoring sessions for GCSE and A-level geography students, focusing on developing a deep understanding of the subject while making learning engaging and accessible. Typically, lessons are 1 hour long, but I am flexible depending on your needs and preferences. I like to adapt lessons to individual needs, making sure what is best for the student is central to the lesson plan. Geography and Environmental Science are both crucial subjects, and I seek to help students understand both the theoretical backgrounds and the real-world implications of these topics, getting students to critically think about what they are learning about. As a PhD student in Environmental Science, I have a strong academic background, including a First Class Honours BSc in Geography, and years of demonstrating experience at the university level.
