Hi, I’m a friendly and patient tutor offering support in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry up to A Level. I know how stressful school and exams can be, so my goal is to make tricky topics easier to understand and help you feel more confident. I aim to create a supportive, tailored learning environment that focuses on building both subject knowledge and confidence. I use a mix of explanation, guided practice, and exam-style questions to ensure students not only understand the content but also know how to apply it effectively. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning needs, whether that means breaking down complex topics, providing memory aids, or helping them develop stronger exam technique. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I can offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student’s needs. Lessons usually include a quick recap of previous topics, focused teaching of new content, and plenty of practice questions with feedback. I tutor Maths, Biology, and Chemistry up to A Level, and have experience helping students of various abilities improve their understanding and achieve their academic goals. I am currently an undergraduate student studying medicine at the University of Edinburgh and achieved 4xA*s at A level in Maths, Further Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have 2 years' experience of tutoring internally at my sixth form, and have tutored in musical instruments externally as well. I work with students aged 11–18, from Key Stage 3 up to A Level. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, catching up on missed content, or just need extra support, I tailor lessons to meet your goals.
