About Fahad
I am currently a first year medical student at Kings College London. As a young student myself I can fully empathise with the stress that school can bring and often just how difficult the work can be. The key factor I want my students to remember is that I'm here to help relieve this stress in their studies, most definitely not pile on more. I know just how much more enjoyable school can be when you can approach lessons prepared. I hope to work with my students to make every aspect of their academia more manageable and simply more engaging.

Having had several tutoring lessons in the past myself as well as tutoring over 20 students over the span of two years I've been able to learn and refine my technique of best helping a pupil learn. During my lessons the key aspect is ensuring a pupil doesn't simply repeat answers but is able to truly grasp the concept - spending longer on a topic which they will maintain understanding of has always proven more efficient than brushing past something which they may go on to forget. Having achieved all 9s in my GCSE grades, A*A*A in my A Levels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths) and receiving offers from all 4 medical schools I applied to, I've been able to take what I did right during this time as well as what I did wrong in order to best prepare a student for their academics. Typically I believe a student is best engaged in a lesson that lasts an hour, although in some cases less or more may be more beneficial. I'm prepared to teach up to an A level standard in Biology, Chemistry and Maths as well as preparing students for medical interviews and entrance exams.
