About Jacob
I am a professional tech educator currently teaching Level 3 IT (A-Level equivalent) and Level 4 Networking (1st-year degree level) for apprenticeships. Alongside a Physics degree and strong mathematical background, I hold extensive industry certifications including CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Pearson Network Specialist, and Microsoft Azure, Security, and 365 Fundamentals (AZ-900, SC-900, MS-900).
My teaching philosophy is built on demystifying technology. I don't just teach students how to memorise facts for an exam; I help them build mental models of how computing systems and networks actually operate in the real world.

I can focus on core knowledge and skills, exam technique, breaking down mark schemes, and mastering tricky topics like programming logic and data representation, as well as real-world scenarios, networking maths (like subnetting), and rigorous practice exam drills. I can also create practice network scenarios and help you master key skills.
