About Gaizka
I have always loved maths since I was a child, I love to read maths, see lectures, watch videos, I have lots of passion for the subject. I hold high aspirations and hope to carry on learning at university in the future too. Part of my reason for tutoring is because I remember the enjoyment I’d get from helping others with questions and concepts and how it was actually more satisfying than doing the questions myself. The GCSE workload is huge, and I want to help others and relieve students of the stress of arguably the biggest subject so they can feel more confident and prepared for their exams.

Having just been a GCSE student myself, I fully understand how hard it really is and, being a core subject, the anxiety maths can bring about. I thoroughly understand the content that is required and I achieved a grade 9 (A* equivalent). My lessons will be personalised to meet your needs and I’ll share valuable insights into what helped me, student to student. So whether you’re aiming for a 9 or you just want to improve your grade in maths or further maths - I can help.
I believe in taking a holistic approach to understanding and teaching maths as opposed to a more mechanical approach. With me you won’t just remember the content, you will understand it.

I had worked with Gaizka throughout my GCSE course and I have yet to meet someone who is more enthusiastic and competent in the subject of mathematics.
