About Evan
As someone who's experienced the 13 years of schooling in NSW I appreciate that completing your educational journey is by no means a walk in the park. I believe that the demands current students face are greater than they have ever and I understand that the pressure to succeed can feel overwhelming. As a tutor, I believe that part of my job is to alleviate this level of stress, providing the strategies and reassurance necessary to allow students to manage anxiety in difficult circumstances. I appreciate that different students have unique academic needs and aim to provide tailored tutoring services that address the goals students are seeking to attain. Outside of the HSC, I also understand the importance of fostering effective learning strategies at a young age, to ensure that students are ready for the challenges of senior years.

Hello! My name is Evan, and I am a current UNSW law student.
I graduated high school in 2025 with an overall ATAR of 98.85, and appeared in the HSC distinguished achievers list. I was also celebrated as an Academic All-Rounder, having achieved top bands in all subjects studied in the HSC (English Advanced, Ancient History, Modern History, SOR II, Legal Studies, English Extension I, History Extension).
Having just recently completed the HSC, I understand the great amount of stress placed on students, many of whom are dependent on a high ATAR to secure positions in prospective university courses, which are becoming increasingly difficult to attain. I would feel privileged to assist individuals going through such a strenuous period, both in developing the academic skills necessary for success, and also the confidence to complete examinations to the best of their ability. Particularly, I appreciate that students struggle to confidently demonstrate their knowledge under intense exam conditions, and aim to provide strategies to help students remain composed in situations which demand high quality work in a limited time frame. I have some experience as a tutor, working privately for clients in my local area.
I am confident tutoring both primary school and high school students. Additionally, I am willing to be flexible with hours (my lessons will vary in length, depending on the unique needs and preferences of the student themselves).
