About Rohiatou
I am a penultimate Law LLB undergraduate student at Newcastle University. I aspire to tutor students because I want students to feel academically confident and feel supported in subjects where they feel less comfortable. Furthermore, I believe every student should have the opportunity to progress their abilities and build the perseverance to overcome challenges in their studies as well as being pushed to reach their highest academic potential. As a previous online tutor for MyTutor, I have also grown to understand greatly what teaching experiences work for students and unique teaching methods to cater to individual student goals.

Focus heavily on adaptive teaching tailoring lessons specifically to students' weaknesses and goals. Effectively utilise active recall in relation to retrieving and memorising key content instead of passive learning. Also utilise exam-styled questions and past papers to maximise student comfortability with practical exam conditions. I have previous online experience of 2 years as a tutor on the MyTutor platform and a further 2 years as a sixth form college academic tutor for A-Level law. My lessons are specifically targeted to GCSE and key stage 1, 2 and 3 in English alongside A-level Law.
