About Karen
Hi, I'm Karen, a dedicated university student who is passionate about helping students achieve their academic potential. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I take a patient, supportive, and personalized approach to tutoring.
I specialize in teaching English, Mathematics, and Science to students from Kindergarten to Year 10. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and develop strong learning habits that will benefit them throughout their education.
Through my university studies and professional experience, I have developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills that I bring into every lesson. I create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and challenging themselves to improve.
Parents can expect a professional and reliable tutor who is committed to their child's progress. I take the time to understand each student's strengths and areas for development, tailoring lessons to suit their individual needs and learning style.

My lessons are designed to help students build confidence, improve their understanding of key concepts, and achieve their academic goals. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to suit each student's learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement.
I teach English, Mathematics, and Science to students from Kindergarten to Year 10. During lessons, I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and encouraging students to actively participate through questions, discussions, and practice exercises. I also incorporate exam strategies, problem-solving techniques, and revision methods to help students develop strong study habits and become independent learners.
Lessons run on an hourly basis and are available as both one-on-one and small group sessions. Face-to-face lessons take place at our learning centre in Blacktown, providing students with a structured and supportive learning environment.
As a university student with strong academic results and experience working with students, I understand the challenges many learners face and strive to create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
My lessons are suitable for students from Kindergarten to Year 10 who are looking to strengthen their foundational skills, improve their school performance, prepare for assessments, or gain greater confidence in English, Mathematics, and Science.
