About Lia
I have always excelled in mathematics and I took college level pre-calculus last year, graduating second in that class. I’ve won multiple mathematics awards as well throughout all 4 years of high school. I also won a chemistry award for having the best grade in class and best grade on my final exam. Lastly I am also very willing to travel to you if that is necessary and I just hope to make this a fun session for you so please reach out to me and I can’t wait to meet you!

My lessons are not the conventional way of teaching. I will explore patterns and make odd connections to help you better understand what’s in front of you. I’m also very patient and willing to explore whatever methods necessary to help you succeed in your classes. My typical lessons will look like me going through every single problem with you showing you step-by-step how to do it and what rules to follow and fun ways to go around those rules to help you solve questions quicker for tests. Expanding on the test aspect of things to help you prepare I will personally prepare questions for you to solve and I do intentionally make it difficult so that you are 100% prepared for even the hardest questions and whatever steps you don’t understand I will go back and explain to you if necessary. My tutoring sessions will be targeted for those in middle school and high school seeking help with algebra one and two geometry and pre-calculus as for trigonometry I do not specialize in trigonometry, but I do know a little bit as it was in my course for my college pre-calculus in high school. I will not be helping with calculus because I don’t feel as though I am prepared for that yet, but I hope to add that to my tutoring services very soon.
