About Luca
As someone who has had scary tutors, crazy math teachers, and confusing physics teachers, I like to be friendly and create a safe space for whoever I am tutoring. The more comfortable they are, the more excited they are to learn, and the more likely they will ask questions, which overall will help make sessions more efficient and feel less like a chore and more so a fun and helpful way of doing math and physics.

As a student who used to struggle with physics and math, I understand how confusing they can be when they're taught in a complicated way. However through a lot of trial and error, bad teachers and youtube videos, I've learned that the best way to learn and master these subjects is by being taught in a simple and logical way. Having peer tutored for some time now, I feel that I have learned the in's and out's of teaching a subject that can often be intimidating to students. During previous sessions, I often start with the student walking me through several problems, and then I suggest and teach them how to solve them if they struggle. Next I have them practice and ask questions on any problem they struggle with, and the last 10 or 15 minutes I have them walk me through what they have learned during the session, and what they feel they need more practice on. I typically tutor my classmates, underclassmen and middle schoolers.
