Perfect! My 8 1/2 year old son had his first lesson with Matthew last week and I was blown away by how long he was able to stay focussed on maths with Matthew! Matthew’s professional yet flexible, patient and supportive teaching style meant my son was able to sit at the desk with Matthew working through maths questions for 30 minutes before asking for a break, this has never happened in a classroom setting in school before.
What was even more surprising was that my son returned to learning after a break of only a minute or two. When my son started to get restless later in the session, Matthew moved with him and they continued the lesson on the floor.
The studio where Matthew holds the lessons is a lovely learning environment and importantly for my son, there aren’t too many distractions!
I highly recommend Matthew and my son is looking forward to more lessons with him.
