About Kerem
Hello everyone, my name is Kerem and I am an aspiring teacher who really wants to garner some experience now with online tutoring and help students make a smoother transition in what is typically considered one of the toughest and most abstract subjects. I have a very patient temperament due to having so many struggles of my own with maths in the past but I've always found the most important thing sometimes in these complex subjects is someone who can guide you and be there at your command. Too often I see teachers either give you no attention, or be far too overbearing. A student's needs should dictate the teacher's approach to learning, and while that is harder in a classroom with so many different skill sets the tutoring environment helps, and a current student that understands the difficulties firsthand helps even more.

Albeit being younger and with less experience, given I am still studying Mathematics today I understand the pressure a student faces in a subject so abstract like maths. My lessons would not be in a linear format with one thing simply following after another assuming you can keep up at my speed. There'd be a cyclical element constantly reaffirming prior topics and putting a lot more onus on you initially to develop your own framework to answer questions that's suited to your style while still having unlimited access to 1 on 1 help from me throughout the lesson. Typical lessons would be an hour with the chance of going over at your command if you'd like to brush up on anything. The lessons are primarily for GCSE students in year 10/11. While other options may pose a more mature background, I believe having a student teach another student is far more effective as there is a sense of relatability that when incorporated with a 1 to 1 teaching style yields far better results.
