Current Biology/ Pre-vet student of Cleveland State University and teaches Algebra, Pre-calculus, Biology, and English from middle to high school ages.

I have known Madison all her life. She is a strong, determined, well organized, independent thinker who sets goals for herself and will do whatever it takes to achieve them. These characteristics have helped Madison to achieve academic success, to include scholarships and awards. Also, her compassion, strong boundaries, loyalty, trustworthiness and ability to communicate well with others makes her an excellent tutor to others. From the time Madison was small she would stay after school helping her teachers organize their classrooms and libraries while receiving one on one mentorship and encouragement. As she grew, friends often came to Madison for help in harder subjects such as science, math and biology. Madison would stay after school with them, help at their home or walk them through step by step on FaceTime. When Madison reached high school, and still today, she is able to keep up with her own work while she helps tutor her little brother who has several learning disabilities which include dyscalculia, fine motor problems and cognitive processing problems. As a result, her brother’s grades and motivation to complete school have improved drastically. Friends continue to seek her encouragement and help with schoolwork, even in college level classes. While Madison’s goals for herself are to someday be a veterinarian, she also has expressed interest teaching someday. However, I believe this is something is already doing and will continue to do the rest of her life. For Madison, it is not just that she is just trustworthy to be a teacher…it is a natural skill for her that has been fine tuned by excellent teachers and motivators before her. Helping others academically is something she is wholeheartedly compassionate about and it has become a part of the very core of who she is. I highly recommend Madison and known she will be a great academic asset to any person seeking assistance in their own academic journey.

Madison is a very smart and kind young lady, who wants what’s best for the person or student she is tutoring! She wants them to be able to retain the knowledge and be able to do the work overtime without assistance!
