About Leslie
I am a Cuban-American bilingual student and native Spanish speaker who is passionate about helping others learn Spanish in a comfortable and supportive environment. Because I grew up speaking both Spanish and English, I understand the challenges that beginners often face when learning a new language.
I am patient, organized, and committed to helping students improve at their own pace. My goal is to make lessons engaging, encouraging, and personalized to each student’s needs, whether they are learning Spanish for school, travel, conversation, or personal growth. I want every student to feel more confident using Spanish step by step.

As a native Spanish speaker and Cuban-American bilingual student, I focus on helping beginner and early intermediate students feel comfortable and confident learning Spanish. My lessons are best for students who are completely new to Spanish, know only a little, or can speak conversationally but struggle with reading, writing, or grammar.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s learning pace. A typical lesson may include vocabulary practice, pronunciation help, grammar exercises, conversation practice, reading activities, and writing exercises. Beginner students may practice writing simple sentences and basic conversations, while more intermediate students can work on paragraphs, essays, and improving fluency. I want students to feel relaxed while improving their Spanish skills step by step in a comfortable learning environment.
