About Tom
I'm Tom, I used to work at CrowdStrike as a threat intelligence researcher where I deployed automation tools to solve many big problems we had within the organisation. I've also worked within small start-ups and in an academic capacity. I graduated in computer science from Lancaster University and I generally love seeing the growth in people who I tutor.

I'm a big advocate for learning by doing. I'll point you to where you should read/watch about a topic and give you practical tasks to complete, with lessons to support specific difficult subjects, blending tutoring with independent work. I used to work at CrowdStrike, the largest cybersecurity company in the world as a threat intelligence researcher. I've got lots of experience in both big tech and the start-up world. I've given workshops at conferences around things like memory allocation and compilation, I speak about threat intelligence and reverse engineering at various events. I can do everything from introduce you to cybersecurity or specifically threat intelligence, teach you how to code, how to deploy production grade applications or to a GCSE/A level/university curriculum
