About Nina
I am currently a medical anthropology/evolutionary biology double major at Case Western Reserve University. While I love science, I also love tapping into my creative side with music, reading, and writing. I have been classically trained in piano for 16 years, and I have taught 6 students over the past several years. In high school, I was a cross age tutor for foreign exchange students, helping them with their reading assignments and essays.

My method really depends on the student! I know that each person learns differently. I have experience teaching both young children and young adults, so I am able to adapt my lessons accordingly. I believe that learning uses all of our senses, and that's how we best learn. Which sense is emphasized the most depends on the student.

Nina is a friend of mine and we are both in the same program for our major. Nina is patient with her students and is very knowledgeable in English. She can very fluently switch between English and Mandarin and is probably one of the best writers I know.
