About Poppy
I am a Criminology student at university, who has been tutoring for nearly 2 years, helping over 5 students through their KS3 and GCSE exams. One student went from getting grade 2 in English to grade 6 in their GCSE exam. The Alevels I took, and the grades that I got, were Sociology (A*), Philosophy (A*), and English Literature (B). I help with not only the learning content but also confidence and providing a safe space to learn!

I offer lessons to pupils between the ages of 11 to 16 for English, and sociology, and philosophy GCSE and A level. I adapt to the learning styles of each individual pupil, everyone learns differently, but my lesson structure tends to include a starter, main focus point, and then a discussion at the end. I also have experience working with pupils who have Autism and Dyslexia.
