About Chloe
At heart, I am a lover of creating and learning. As a kid, my favorite place in the house was the crafting area! My grandmothers taught me how to sew and knit before I was even 10 years old, and I am a self-taught crocheter.
I have a BFA in Theatre Design and Technical Production from Western Michigan University with a focus in costume design. There I learned how to sew garments from scratch, alter existing garments, and maintain / repair clothes. I also learned how to do leatherwork and make corsets!
Now I am a hairstylist, but one of my first loves will always be making clothes. On my days off, you will find me at home whipping up something new! And I try to make something skull-themed every October. So far, I've made a shawl, cardigan, and sweater!

My classes are for teens and adults of all skill levels! I believe textile and fiber arts should be an enjoyable and therapeutic experience. There is no better feeling than holding something in your hands that you made, and wearing it too!
I am a believer in learning through experience and creation. Every class will include a project tailored to your experience and skill level. You will learn all of the skills to complete the project, either during the class if time allows, or on your own time.
If you have your own project that you are struggling with, we can instead use the class to troubleshoot. Getting stuck can feel so frustrating, but I can help!
