About Matilda
My qualifications include GCSE English Language and Literature at Grade 9, three essay-based A-Levels (AAA*) and an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism. Additionally, I am a creative writing student, and have been cultivating a blog for the past 4 years. I am keen to instil a love for writing and reading in all children, as this is an asset that will prove invaluable far beyond secondary school qualifications.

Years working as a surfing and swimming instructor have taught me that all pupils learn differently, thus finding a personalised teaching approach is key to my methodology. Depending on the student, this may include word games, movement, or even outdoor learning. I would be happy to tutor students in primary school literacy, to GCSE English, and offer essay writing support and coaching up to A-Level. Additionally, I speak Intermediate Spanish so would be happy to support Spanish speaking pupils.
