About Nora
I am a committed piano tutor with 9 years of experience teaching students from school to college level. My passion for education and music drives everything I do. I believe piano is not just about pressing keys, but about expressing feelings and building confidence. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided many students to improve their musical skills and develop strong performance abilities.
A proud milestone in my journey was helping students prepare for concerts and school programmes where they performed beautifully. I design lessons that are simple, clear, and easy to follow. I focus on strong fundamentals like hand position, rhythm, coordination, and music reading. At the same time, I encourage creativity and self-expression. I always aim to create a friendly and disciplined classroom atmosphere where students feel safe to learn and grow.
Teaching has taught me patience, empathy, and dedication. My greatest reward is seeing my students smile after mastering a new piece. With every lesson, I work to inspire confidence and long-term love for music.

My approach to teaching piano focuses on developing confidence, consistency, and creativity through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I design personalised lessons that balance technique building, theory understanding, and performance practice. Motivation is sustained by recognising progress regularly and guiding students through difficulties with patience.
Communication is simple and supportive, ensuring clarity in rhythm patterns, scale techniques, chord inversions, and musical dynamics. I repeat and revise concepts whenever needed to strengthen understanding. Integrity ensures that I remain dedicated, organised, and honest in monitoring student progress.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation exercises, playing by ear, and expressive interpretation of music. In addition to piano, I also provide instruction in music theory, rhythm development, harmony basics, and keyboard skills for comprehensive musical education.
