About Diana
I am an experienced flute instructor with over 8 years of teaching background, guiding students towards musical excellence. I work with school children, college students, and working professionals who want structured and professional training. My philosophy is based on strong basics and continuous practice.
I focus on breath management, finger flexibility, sound clarity, and timing precision. For advanced learners, I include articulation control and expressive phrasing. In addition to practical lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training to build complete musicianship.
I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning style and goals. My unique ability is motivating students to stay disciplined and confident throughout their musical journey.

My approach to teaching flute combines disciplined technique with personalised guidance through Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I understand that flute playing requires controlled breathing and refined embouchure, so I prioritise foundational exercises that strengthen tone quality and airflow management.
Students practise articulation patterns, scale sequences, and rhythm drills to improve precision and finger agility.
I adapt my teaching methods based on whether students respond better to demonstrations, structured explanations, or repetition. Flexibility enables me to tailor lesson pacing and repertoire to suit different learning objectives. Collaboration ensures students actively participate in setting milestones and tracking progress.
Positivity builds confidence and reduces performance anxiety, helping students stay motivated. In addition to flute instruction, I provide lessons in music theory fundamentals, rhythm counting techniques, ear training, sight-reading, and basic performance skills for comprehensive musical development.
