About Jules
I am a passionate flute tutor who enjoys helping students discover their musical potential. My teaching combines creativity, accountability, and mentorship to ensure steady progress. I focus on developing tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control, while encouraging expressive playing. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to build complete musicianship.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling. I help students set goals, track their practice, and stay accountable. Mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities and stepping stones to improvement. I adapt my teaching to each student’s level, pace, and interests. I act as a mentor, offering guidance, motivation, and support. Lessons are structured but engaging, balancing technical work with creative activities.
I emphasize critical thinking, reflection, and problem-solving in all sessions. My goal is to build confidence, independence, and a love for music in every student. I also teach related subjects such as performance skills, theory, and rhythm. I create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting. My ultimate aim is to help students become expressive, confident, and passionate musicians.

My flute teaching method blends creativity, discipline, and understanding. I teach with patience and enthusiasm, helping students build both skill and confidence. Each lesson is a chance to explore sound, rhythm, and expression. I believe that music should encourage curiosity and critical thinking. Accountability plays a key role in my teaching—I guide students to take responsibility for their own growth.
I mentor them to set goals, track progress, and stay motivated. My lessons balance structure with creativity to keep learning engaging. Students learn tone control, phrasing, and breath work through interactive exercises. I also include theory and rhythm training to strengthen musical knowledge. I encourage improvisation and self-expression to build creativity. Mistakes are treated as lessons, not failures. I adjust my teaching style for each student’s learning pace.
I aim to make lessons comfortable, encouraging, and fun. I believe that consistent effort leads to lasting results. Along with flute, I can teach related topics like theory and performance practice. My goal is to help students develop musical independence and a lifelong love for playing.
