About Polly
I am a patient and caring ESL tutor with 7 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I believe learning English should be supportive and encouraging.
I have worked with between 150 and 200 students over the years. One of my proudest milestones has been helping students who felt nervous about English become more confident learners.
My lessons are calm and easy to understand. I explain topics slowly and clearly, allowing students to learn at their own pace. I focus on understanding, not pressure.
I create a safe learning environment where students feel respected and supported. I motivate students to keep practising and improving.
My passion for education drives me to help students succeed. My goal is to support learners in becoming confident English users.

I teach ESL using an adaptive and goal-oriented approach. Lessons include real-life examples and case studies to make English practical and relevant. Motivation is a key part of my teaching—I help students set achievable goals, track progress, and celebrate accomplishments.
Problem-solving exercises strengthen critical thinking and allow learners to apply English in real situations. Integrity guides my teaching—I provide honest feedback and maintain a supportive, respectful learning environment.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons to each student’s pace, style, and needs. Besides ESL, I teach grammar, writing, reading, and conversation skills. My goal is to help students develop confidence, independence, and practical language abilities
