About Daniel
I am a Mathematics undergrad major who has always had a love for all things math. I went into programming for several years after tutoring and teaching for about 3 years. I am looking to return to teaching because I really miss being able to see the spark of excitement and pride that happens when a student understands a new concept for the first time. I had the great privilege of working with some phenomenal teachers and I believe that most students who don't click with a particular subject just need to experience that subject through the eyes of a passionate and patient teacher.

I have worked with students at a variety of levels and have found that many different approaches are required to help people understand new concepts. A big piece of the puzzle that is missing for many students is just the confidence that they can learn! So my approach to teaching included taking small steps, constantly putting the questions back on the students, reframing the sticky concepts, and providing lots of validation.
