About George
I have been drawing and making films for as long as I can remember. Early on, I realized that I had a particular talent for cartooning, and began self publishing my first comic book in fourth grade. It ran (and made me a profit) for three years until I became interested in music and decided to devote more time to that. After High School I had a big decision to make, art or music? I chose art. I love making people smile, so I was very happy that I got to work my way through art school as head cartoonist for a party decoration company. I got to make kids happy for a living while I learned my craft. I am a really easy going person, and I love to teach. Bringing joy and enrichment to other people's live truly matters to be, and I really love passing on what I have learned.

I believe in teaching the student, not the subject. We begin with a basic understanding of how people react and connect to every kind of visual stimulation and begin a journey together learning how to translate feelings aesthetically. From basic shape usage to elaborate illustration, you will learn how to express yourself with your own unique vision, whether it be for yourself or your clients.
A typical lesson lasts one hour. I believe in creative momentum and have learned that shorter lessons are not as effective for creatives.
I have a BFA in Graphic Design from School of Visual Arts in New York, and 20 years experience as a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Filmmaker and Marketing Consultant.
I teach students of all skill levels 12 years old and up.
