• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  Physics and Mathematics are not just any subjects for me, they have been an integral part of me since my childhood. During my JEE days, I slowly started declining towards Physics and because of that only I'm pursuing Aerospace from IIST-ISRO.



• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My brother has been my motivation behind me choosing to teach as he always believed I've got this skill from my childhood days and because of that only I pursued becoming a scientist.



• How does your work help society?

  Teaching being my passion helps society in various ways, one of many ways is it makes the future of our country to start loving Physics and Mathematics.


• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  When I was preparing for JEE, there was one faculty member in my institute (let's say XYZ). He used to teach us Physics, he has been my motivation, because of him I got an inclination towards Physics. I remember, he used to say THERE IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LABOUR AND ENGINEERING, so study smart and put your hard work in the correct direction.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  I like to play Cricket, table tennis and football. I have even represented my state in interstate competition in Cricket in 2014.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  I remember during my JEE days, I was having problems understanding the direction of friction, so I asked multiple times in class. Everyone was laughing except me (who was asking the questions) and my Physics teacher (who was trying to make me understand the concept). After a few examples I understood the concept and that day I realized if you want to understand something, you should be shameless while asking the questions. You shouldn't care what your batchmates are thinking, your only motive should be UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT.
