About Angela
I am a gastronomy graduate from the University of La Sabana, passionate about the different cuisines of the world and the culture and history behind them. In this course I seek to share my knowledge of Asian cuisine, its history and the culture linked to it. The course presents one of the following areas:
- East Asia (China, North Korea, South Korea, Japan and Mongolia)
- Southeast Asia (Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia , Malaysia, Singapore and East Timor).

About the lesson

Classes will be divided into three parts, in order to impart three main types of knowledge during classes.
Phase 1: It will begin with a historical and geographical introduction to the chosen area or countries, in order to better understand the origin and use of the preparations throughout history.
Phase 2: Next, the preparation of three recipes chosen previously with the student, or at the teachers discretion, will be carried out, taking into account the most iconic preparations in the area.
Phase 3: Tasting and discussion. This phase seeks to create a space for the student to ask questions and resolve doubts about what they have learned in class in order to better internalize the material previously learned.
