About Celeste
"I am a teacher who believes that language lives in the pulse of a song. You will quickly discover that my 13 years of experience are focused on making you sound like a local. I bring the same energy to the classroom that I use when gigging Latin music across Australia. My background as a native speaker means I provide deep insight into Latin American variants versus Castilian.
I have worked with hundreds of students, including travelers, exam candidates, and busy adults. My teaching is deeply tied to the bolero, flamenco, and chacarera traditions I lived through. This cultural context provides a framework for every grammatical rule we cover.
You will find that my approach to accent and intonation is rooted in the music of my home. I am ready to help you gain true fluency. Warmly, the Chilean nueva cancion teacher."

"It is surprisingly helpful to make mistakes early because they reveal where your understanding of the language actually gaps. I offer weekly conversation practice recordings that we review together to refine your accent. My lessons are designed for travelers, teens, and adults who want to move beyond simple textbook phrases.
We use role play and dialogue to simulate real world situations you will face on your next trip. My 13 years of experience help me guide you through DELE exam preparation or general conversational goals. I lean on my background in Latin music to explain the cadence of speech in a natural way.
You will find that learning Spanish feels like learning a new dance. I personally enjoy watching students connect with the soul of the language."
