About Charol
Getting the pacing right is usually just about observing where you stumble during a natural dialogue. Sometimes we linger on specific accent challenges or business vocabulary for 20 minutes to ensure full clarity. The goal is to move beyond textbook phrases and get you comfortable with how French sounds on the street.
Since I have gigged for 13 years, I approach language instruction with the same steady discipline I use in songwriting. I integrate my BA in Musique populaire to highlight the musicality of the language, which helps students remember rhythm and phrasing better. We will cover everything from basic everyday talk to complex exam preparation for the DALF. It is easy to get started whenever you feel ready to put in the work.

Adults often assume that learning a language requires endless grammar drills and tedious memorization. Conversational fluency is actually built through rhythm and consistent exposure to how people speak in the real world. I hold a BA in Musique populaire from UQAM and have spent 13 years gigging throughout the Montreal scene. This musical background informs how I hear and teach the nuances of French intonation.
