About Sonali
Hi, I'm Sonali! I'm from Kolkata, India, and I hold a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, along with a Diploma in Media Science. Writing and clear communication have been at the heart of everything I've done — from professional content writing to running my own small content-based business, where I create written material daily for real audiences and clients.
I'm passionate about helping others express themselves confidently in English, whether that's through polished essays, professional emails, or simply speaking without hesitation. I believe good writing isn't about rigid rules — it's about clarity, confidence, and knowing how to shape your ideas so people actually listen. I bring patience, genuine encouragement, and real-world writing experience to every lesson, so you're not just learning grammar in isolation, but building a skill you'll actually use.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy quiet cafe evenings, good coffee, and staying curious about how language and content evolve in today's digital world.

My approach is simple: every student learns differently, so I don't follow a rigid, one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I start by understanding your specific goals — whether that's polishing an essay, prepping for a dissertation, improving business communication, or simply building confidence to speak and write more naturally.
A typical class starts with a quick check-in on what you're working on, followed by focused practice — this could be structuring an essay, refining grammar and vocabulary, or working through real writing samples together. I always explain the "why" behind corrections, not just the "what," so you actually retain the learning rather than just fixing one sentence at a time.
What sets me apart is my background in Journalism and content writing — I bring real-world, practical writing experience rather than just textbook rules, so lessons stay relevant to how English is actually used today, in professional and academic settings alike.
My classes are suited for working professionals, university students (including those working on essays or dissertations), and school-level learners wanting a strong foundation in English writing and grammar.
