I graduated end of March 2020 from the University of Cape Town (UCT) holding a Business Science Finance (Honours) degree. Throughout my studies I took units in finance, financial reporting, accounting, maths, statistics and economics. With years of tutoring experience, I have identified that I am a sound teacher, proactive, innovative and goal-oriented whilst retaining attention to detail in resolving complex challenges. I value understanding, persistence and retaining sight of the bigger picture whilst finding the most optimal solutions to get you to understand your work!

Prizes and Scholarships :
While still at school, I achieved six distinctions (average mark: 88 percent) in my Matriculation subjects at prestigious private school, Bishops College, Cape Town, where I was Head Boy in 2014 – 2015, and earned full leadership colours in 2015. I also earned academic half-colours in 2014.
Scholastic awards include: Accounting First Prize 2015; National Accounting Olympiad (1st and 2nd round) 2015; Science Expo Regional Finalist (Gold) 2012; National Maths Olympiad (first round) 2011 –2015.
My extra-mural work achievements include the following:
1. I am the proud co-developer, where I was again exposed to the value of teamwork, of an online accounting package – to be launched in January 2020.
2. I was Content Curator for Mathematics and Accounting at Fast Academy (2017-2018). I commenced private tutoring in 2016; in 2018 I was appointed Head of Matric Accounting Tutoring at Fast Academy.
3. Starting in 2016 I also tutored mathematics and accounting – pro bono – to underprivileged students from Walmer Estates Community Outreach programme, enhancing their numeracy skills.
