About Mara
I have 10 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a PhD in Guitar Performance and Education. Throughout my career, I have guided students in developing stronger technique, greater musical awareness, and improved confidence with their instrument. Helping learners achieve meaningful progress remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
My teaching style emphasizes structure, flexibility, and positive encouragement. I believe students learn best when lessons are tailored to their needs while maintaining clear objectives. Every learner receives support that encourages continuous growth.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing original music, studying performance practices, and exploring new approaches to music education. These activities help me keep lessons fresh and engaging. I am dedicated to helping students become capable and confident musicians.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students develop a strong musical foundation while enjoying the process of learning. We focus on rhythm training, chord fluency, fretboard familiarity, picking control, fingerstyle coordination, musical phrasing, and performance skills. Every lesson combines technical development with creative exploration.
Students work through technique exercises, song studies, ear-training tasks, improvisation activities, musical analysis, and performance preparation. I provide clear guidance that helps learners understand concepts and apply them confidently. Lessons are customized to fit individual interests and long-term goals.
I enjoy helping students discover new abilities while building confidence in their playing. Through supportive instruction and practical feedback, learners strengthen both technical skills and musical understanding. My goal is to create lessons that are inspiring, productive, and enjoyable.
