About Jessica
I am a contemporary dance specialist with a degree from University of Lincoln in dance and a PGCE in PE, followed by 2 years of extensive teaching experience. I have a passion for helping dancers of all ages and abilities discover their potential, whether that’s building strong technique, developing performance confidence, or exploring their creativity. Teaching allows me to share the joy of movement and inspire students to express themselves through dance. I love tailoring my lessons to each individual’s goals, whether it’s learning contemporary, jazz, commercial, or musical theatre styles, and seeing students grow both as performers and as confident, creative individuals.

My lessons focus on developing strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity, expression, and performance confidence. I also offer tuition in jazz, commercial, and musical theatre styles, so you can explore a range of dance techniques and performance styles. Whether you are a beginner looking to explore dance for the first time, or an experienced dancer preparing for auditions, exams, or performances, I create supportive, tailored sessions that help you grow as both a mover and an artist. I provide GCSE Dance tutoring to help students enhance their practical grades, refine choreography, and prepare confidently for their practical exam. I offer choreography and refinement sessions to help dancers perfect and produce standout routines for audition tapes, competitions and showcases.

Details
For in-person sessions, the student’s home should provide a suitable space for dance (i.e. a reasonably sized room with appropriate flooring and access to a sound system). Alternatively, lessons can take place at a local dance studio or venue, which may incur additional costs depending on the location.
