About Sethabiso
I'm a University of Johannesburg Honors in Construction Management student. I tutor Grade 7–12 Math with a practical, step-by-step approach, breaking down problems the way builders solve real-world challenges.
In every lesson, expect clear explanations, guided practice, and honest feedback.

My Tutoring Approach
My methodology is applied and visual. I teach Math like a construction graduate, by breaking down abstract problems into logical steps with real life examples such as ratios in concrete mixing or angles in structural design. The thing that makes me different is that I can relate every formula to something real so that students never ask me "When will I ever use this?".
I can speak and understand English and isiZulu fluently and can teach in either language.
During a typical 60-minute lesson with me, students will be able to expect:
A brief summary of the previous work, which takes about 5 minutes.
20 minutes of concept explanation with diagrams and practical examples.
25 minutes of guided problem solving (I do one, we do one, you do one)
10 minutes of review and setting of targeted homework.
My lessons are designed for students in grades 7-12 who are struggling with Math or are intimidated by it. I particularly assist students who are studying for exams or having difficulties with topics such as algebra, trigonometry, and functions.
