About Mojan
I am a composer and music educator, active in Dutch film industry and concert music sector. My work blends Iranian musical heritage with contemporary classical, experimental and modern styles across concert music, film scores, and interdisciplinary projects. I have composed for festivals such as Gaudeamus or Grachtenfestival, and teach Introduction to Composing for Film at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
With my background as a guest lecturer at CvA and my experience working with private students, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a practical approach to teaching. I can guide you through the technical, creative, and professional aspects of composing for visual media.

Designed for aspiring and experienced musicians, my lessons offer a tailored approach to mastering the art of film music. Comprehensive lessons cover topics from film scoring basics to advanced techniques in composition, orchestration, music functions and spotting. My lessons are hands-on and portfolio-focused, with guidance on collaborating with directors and producers.
I also give one-off mentorship lessons: Focused sessions are available for composers working on specific projects or preparing for academic auditions and applications, offering targeted
guidance on refining scores, tackling challenges, and more.
