About Tiia
I graduated from the University of Turku in the summer of 2021 with a master's degree in musicology. Before that, I studied to be a musician at the Turku Conservatory in 2014-2016 with a major in classical piano and a minor in classical singing. I have taught piano under the City of Turku in 2016-2020. So teaching is very familiar to me.

I am an inspiring, encouraging and empathetic teacher who always, above all, strives to take into account that students really learn in class and enjoy themselves at the same time. I reflect on my own actions and modify them based on the feedback I receive and my own observations. It is important to me that I arouse my student’s enthusiasm for music and piano playing and try my best to support the student on his or her musical path.

Tiia on moniosaaja ja hyvin perusteellinen opettaja. Hän suunnittelee oppitunnit viimeisen päälle, monipuolisesti ja kiinnostavasti, vastaa oppilaiden kysymyksiin ja opastaa kaikissa asioissa muutenkin mielellään.
