About Shashwat
Have taught one-to-one classes previously for GCSE students for a year, and they all achieved A*/A grades or equivalent in their GCSE's. I have also self-taught the entire Computer Science A-level and GCSE for myself and other students with no teacher support, all achieving A*s.

I am a First-Year Computer Science student at Imperial College London, and I have a natural passion for mathematics since it is a powerful subject for modelling and solving many of today's problems.
My approach is:
First we'll cover the course content and exam structures.
Then the lesson by lesson, we cover fundamental concepts and topics.
Learning new concepts, we will consolidate these ideas through practice questions topic by topic, and I will show how topics crosslink so that the tutee is familiar with which method needs to be used with which questions. We will build confidence with tougher questions looking at exam tricks and quicker methods as well, so the student is comfortable with exam technique and time management.
I will be free to answer any questions the tutee may have throughout the week and mark/provide feedback for any alternative questions the student may do.
I always believe that smarter practice is more beneficial than long hours of question practice. I will preselect quality and a wide variety of questions that help the student to grasp the full concept as clearly and thoroughly as possible. Taking questions on fundamentals first and learning new ideas bit by bit makes greater progress.
