About Tamsin
My experience in an all girls school has provided me with more of a desire to help push STEM as an option to everyone...
While computing is complex due to its intangibility, I pride myself on being able to contextualise these concepts and relate to your every day environment.
This will allow you to develop your inquisitive mind and ability to access a subject which is notorious for keeping people out.
I am always adapting, especially with working with neurodiverse individuals.

I use the PRIMM method with programming and have developed a course on Trinket to support learning outside of lessons.
It will also include flipped learning, where you will be given a task to research in-between sessions and then in sessions we will recall on your knowledge to help transfer to the long term memory.
I cover the OCR specification for GCSE and A Level, Pearson T level. A typical length of a lesson will be 50 minutes
I have a degree in sound engineering where I began to specialise in data representation and audio manipulation with a route into programming. I then completed my PGCE in computer science with secondary specialism. In my current school I am the programming lead, developing curriculum for Python, HTML/CSS,Javascript, PHP and SQL.
