About Joseph
I am a computer science student, specifically software development. I was also a Network Administrator for 7 years in the U.S. Army where I provided, installed, and maintained various communication systems across the world. I've given classes on networking fundamentals such as IP configuration, subneting, troubleshooting network issues and installation and configuration concepts using Cisco switches and routers.

The core concept of teaching is to pass knowledge from one person to another. To achieve this I believe it is important to teach understanding along with information. Success requires both. Memorization of the information benefits no one if there is no understanding of the information given. My teaching methodology is to instill a sense of practicality and usefulness of the lessons. This way a student not only learns the information, but understands it and knows how to use it to their benefit.
