About Alex
I am a Computer Science, Philosophy, and Mathematics A-Level student. I achieved a 9 (A*) at GCSE Computer Science and will be able to apply my close knowledge of the specification to help students achieve their best. In A-Level Computer Science I am predicted an A* grade, and am planning to study Computer Science at a top UK university.

I tutor GCSE and IGCSE Computer Science students remotely and in-person in the Bucks and Herts counties. I also teach programming, including to students with no knowledge of computer science or programming.
Learning is a collaboration between you and I - it is our job, together, to help you achieve your best in every topic. Computer science at GCSE is a mix of knowing the right answers to specific questions (similar to other GCSE sciences), and, crucially, creative problem-solving. I focus on achieving the expected wording for written questions, but I specialise in improving general problem-solving and programming skill in order to tackle more difficult pseudocode questions and any coursework the student might have. I love the subject and hope to be able to share that with students who might need assistance to achieve the grades they deserve.
