About Daniel
I'm Daniel, a student at the University of York. I'm currently studying for a Masters degree in Computer Science with Cyber Security.
I spend lots of my spare time rowing, as a competitive member of the University Squad, as well as working on University and my own projects.
I've spent the last two years almost working as a software developer / web engineer in a London-based technology company, and am keen to pass my practical skills and experiences on to my students!

I'm here to help Computer Science students engage and flourish in their subject. I've always been interested in Computer Science as one of the most in-demand and fast-paced industries today, and love the opportunity to help others learn and progress as I have.
I'm currently studying for a Masters degree in Computer Science with Cyber Security at the University of York, and have a strong grade history. I also have good real-world industry experience, having worked for nearly two years as a software developer / web engineer at an aspiring web-based technology company, based in London.
My aim is to really engage my students, help them to find the interest for the subject that I have, and ultimately train them with the knowledge and practice needed to achieve their targets and beyond.
I will use a combination of theoretical and practical techniques, as I believe that there's no better way to cement understanding than by learning to implement concepts yourself, tailoring my teaching to match the student's preferred learning method - all this helps you to maximise your potential!
