About Borshon
Hello, my name is Borshon. I am a Computer Science tutor with experience teaching in schools, universities, and coaching centres across the UK, Singapore, and Bangladesh. I hold an MSc in Computer Science and a BSc in Theoretical Physics, and I have taught learners ranging from early secondary level through to university students.
I have a genuine enthusiasm for science, computer science, and artificial intelligence, and I enjoy helping students make sense of subjects that can initially feel complex or intimidating. During my time as a trainee teacher, I particularly enjoyed working with younger students who were just discovering programming — making it approachable through creative projects, simple games, and activities that balanced fun with real learning.
Beyond teaching, I have a strong interest in astronomy, astrophysics, and astrobiology, and I enjoy exploring how science connects across disciplines. I am also a musician, trained in Indian classical music on the sarod, and I play guitar, piano, and drums. I find that music and creativity complement analytical thinking and help keep learning engaging and balanced.
Having lived and travelled extensively — including time in Bangladesh, Singapore, and the UK, as well as extended travel across Australia, Canada, Europe, and Southeast Asia — I am comfortable working with students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds.

My teaching style is structured, inclusive, and engaging. I focus on making Computer Science and programming accessible by breaking ideas down into clear, manageable steps and using practical, hands-on activities to reinforce understanding. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, purposeful, and pitched at the right level.
I place strong emphasis on building foundational computational thinking, even when students are working on creative or project-based tasks. I make learning objectives and key terminology explicit, so students always know what they are working towards and can track their progress through clear, manageable checkpoints during a lesson.
I am experienced in differentiating lessons to support a wide range of abilities. This includes providing scaffolded tasks for students who need more structure, as well as extension activities to stretch higher-attaining students. I have also worked closely with SEND students and support staff, adapting materials and approaches to support learners with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and SEMH needs, ensuring lessons remain accessible and inclusive.
For older students, I take a curriculum- and exam-aware approach, covering topics such as networks, cybersecurity, computer architecture, and programming (particularly Python), while helping students develop confidence and fluency through gradual, guided practice.
