About Yusef
Hey! I'm Yusef and I'm a 4th year computer science student at UMass Amherst with a 3.98/4 GPA. I've tutored in the past and really enjoy the feeling of helping someone understand something. The 'aha' moment is always so satisfying! I can guarantee a personalized experience where we have a genuine conversation and work together to better your understanding, instead of a 1vs30 experience where a teacher shouts a bunch of generic info at a class. (no hate to teachers, they just have a lot of students to deal with). With me, it's 1 on 1 and all about your understanding. I have found that this approach has worked well with my previous students over the past few years and helped them to significantly better their exam and assignments scores.

Perfect! Very patient and able to explain concepts in ways that a student having difficulty in the subject can process. At the same time, not doing the work for the student - asking questions that guide them along towards understanding of the problems they are working on.
Perfect! Let’s you take the lead in solving problems and doesn’t just tell you how to solve while still guiding you. Knows a wide range of topics in physics and calculus.
Perfect! Yusef is truly strong in physics and calculus. His remarkable ability to explain complex concepts to make it easier for my son to understand. Then he let my son to work on the problem to make sure he fully understands and grasp the concepts properly. Appreciate his patient and flexibility of lesson scheduling due to time difference.

Yusef is a god send blessing! He helped me pass my discrete math and calculus 2 exams and that’s at university level with an A+. Not only are his explanations clear, but he goes out of his way to make sure I understand each topic and answer all exercises correctly before moving on. Doing this helped me feel confident and more comfortable answering questions on the final exam and acing it.
Yusef has helped me with math problems and I found the explanations to be easily understandable, super helpful on sections I couldn't understand, and overall helped me in succeed in my classes.
