About Mary Isabelle
I have graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's in computer science from the University of Maine, and am finishing my master's degree now. I have experience with various programming languages, such as Python, Java, C, R, C++, etc. I also do research with machine learning and its applications in biomedicine.

For me, lessons vary by student and subject. I like to first ensure students understand the topic they are struggling with, and then I try to ensure they can learn how to understand their own learning style and the resources available to them to support themselves beyond the course. This can include different types of practice problems, exercises, creating study guides, or just discussing the material. I am open to adjusting to what works best for the student. I tutor primarily for high school, college/University, and professional development.
