About Sahar
I’m currently studying Computer Science and Mathematics at degree level, combining both subjects to give students strong analytical and problem-solving support.
Alongside my studies, I’m involved in research and continuing to develop as an educator while working towards my teaching qualification.
I have 3+ years' experience tutoring students across GCSE and A-Level, as well as supporting learners in a college setting.
My lessons focus on understanding, confidence, and exam technique — not just memorising methods.
I teach through clear explanations, questioning, and plenty of targeted practice to help students improve quickly.
Students I’ve worked with have consistently achieved Grade 7+ outcomes.
Many students improve by around 2 grades within 3 months of regular lessons.
I also prepare students for UKMT and Maths Challenges, with students achieving Junior Maths Challenge Gold awards.
Friendly, supportive, and results-focused approach tailored to each student.

My lessons are focused on teaching through real context, strong questioning techniques, and plenty of targeted question practice to build understanding and confidence. I aim to help students think independently rather than just memorise methods. I have experience tutoring A-Level students and working as a Learning Mentor in a college, supporting learners to improve academically and reach their goals.
