About Rena
Hello! I’m Rena Rustamli, a Computer Science student at the University of Manchester with a strong academic background in Mathematics. I achieved top grades throughout my studies and have experience helping classmates and younger students build confidence in solving complex maths problems. My approach to teaching is based on clarity, patience, and understanding. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match their pace and learning style. My goal is not only to help you achieve higher grades but also to make you feel more confident and comfortable with Maths. As a tutor, I’m reliable, organised, and genuinely passionate about helping others succeed. As a Computer Science and Mathematics student at the University of Manchester with top grades in Mathematics, I focus on helping each student truly understand the why behind every concept — not just memorise formulae. My lessons are interactive and based on clear explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step problem solving. I usually start by identifying areas where the student feels less confident, then create simple explanations and exercises to strengthen those topics. I believe that patience and encouragement are key to learning, so I always aim to make lessons positive and motivating. My goal is to make Maths feel logical, approachable, and even enjoyable — helping students gain both understanding and confidence.
