About Mayowa
Hello, Mayowa here! As a recent Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence graduate, I understand the importance of one-to-one teaching for young students. Since everyone learns at a different pace, it doesn't make sense for a single teacher to be assigned thirty students, in order to make each perform to a high standard ready for exam season.
For this reason, I believe a personal tutor is vital to any student wanting to succeed academically. The privilege of having one teacher knowing the ins and outs of a particular subject, and understanding your strengths and weaknesses in order to design a learning strategy suited especially to you is something you just cannot receive in the classroom.
My aim is to inspire confidence and cater to individual needs in order for you to perform at your best during exam season. So take a look around, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Benjamin Franklin once said: "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn". For this reason, I truly believe practice makes perfect when tutoring, and I aim to give students plenty of this as it is proven to not only produce better results but also boost memory past the exam date.
My lessons typically last 50-60mins depending on the content being covered, and my experience in tutoring back in school and while at university has taught me that this is the best time frame to cover topics in-depth without losing concentration.
My Bachelor's in Computer Science and AI make me fully qualified to teach ICT, Algorithms up to Higher Education level. In addition to this, having obtained an A* and A in A-Level Maths and Further Maths respectively, I am also in a good position to teach Maths, Further Maths and Algebra from GCSE to A-Level standards.
My lessons will be primarily done online via video calls, or in-person if travel is within reason.
